- supporting playwrights financially at a level that allows them to concentrate on their craft
- soliciting plays from women and playwrights of color to help move the needle toward equity in the industry
- allowing playwrights the full scope of their imagination using large, skilled, ensemble casts
- providing the theatre industry with new work that partners with Shakespeare’s plays
- introducing Shakespeare’s Staging Conditions to broader audiences and other theatres to expand the application of this visceral style of producing

Your tax-deductible contribution supports a project that could transform the theatre industry in a multitude of ways:
Principal underwriter of a play: $50,000
- Named as Principal Underwriter in publicity, programs and other ASC materials.
- Receive early notice when the winning plays are announced.
- Private Q&A phone call with the ASC Artistic Director and/or Literary Manager about the winning plays and the development process.
- Lunch or Dinner with the Playwright, the Director and/or the ASC Artistic Director.
- May attend rehearsals, bringing up to 9 guests.
- Will receive seating of their choice at Opening Night and invitation to attend post-show reception with the cast, with up to 9 guests.
- Introduced on the stage prior to curtain on Opening Night.
- Bound copy of the play, signed by playwright, director, and cast.
Underwriter of a play: $25,000
- Named as Underwriter in publicity, programs and other ASC materials.
- Receive early notice when the winning plays are announced.
- Lunch or Dinner with the Playwright, the Director and/or the ASC Artistic Director.
- May attend rehearsals, bringing up to 5 guests.
- Will receive seating of their choice at Opening Night and invitation to attend post-show reception with the cast, with up to 5 guests.
- Introduced from the stage prior to curtain.
- Bound copy of the play, signed by playwright, director, and cast.
Patron of a Play: $10,000
- Named as a Patron in publicity, programs and other ASC materials.
- Receive early notice when the winning plays are announced.
- May attend rehearsals, bringing up to 3 guests.
- Will receive seating of their choice at Opening Night and invitation to attend post-show reception with the cast, with up to 3 guests.
- Introduced from the stage prior to curtain.
- Bound copy of the play, signed by playwright, director, and cast.
Friend of a play: $5,000
- Named as a Friend in publicity, programs and other ASC materials.
- Receive early notice when the winning plays are announced.
- Will receive seating of their choice at Opening Night and invitation to attend post-show reception with the cast, with up to 3 guests.
- Bound copy of the play, signed by playwright, director, and cast.
